As one of the leading insurance Brokers in the South West, we specialise in a range of commercial and personal insurance products and has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Customer Service Advisor to join our vibrant team of insurance professionals.
This permanent position is well suited to an individual looking to advance their existing insurance career or start a new career gaining hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.
Based within the Broker Support Customer Services Team, you will work closely with both the sales and finance departments to assist existing customers with changes to their policies.
Salary – from £18,525 to £21,477.25 per year depending on experience
Hours – 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. 9 am – 5.30 pm
Location – This is an office-based position. Torquay.
Training – Full training provided with the opportunity to attain professional accreditations funded by the company (Cert CII)
Contract – Permanent
What will you be doing?
Providing fantastic customer service to clients over the telephone, by e-mail or face-to-face
Process any changes to our customers insurance policies throughout the year.
Complete and process cancellation requests.
Monitor, check and process any documents received from insurers and clients.
Liaise with the accounts department to ensure that credit control rules are followed
Chase and accept payments by cheque, credit card and direct debit for new business, renewals and policy amendments.
Adhere to company policy and best practices in line with current FCA compliance regulations.
Ideally, you be;
