As one of the leading insurance Brokers in the South West, we specialise in a range of commercial and personal insurance products and has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Sales Advisor to join our vibrant team of insurance professionals.

This permanent position is well suited to an individual looking to advance their existing insurance career or start a new career gaining hands-on sales experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.

Based within the Sale Team, you will work closely with all sales teams and the customer service department to sell new insurance products, service existing policies with renewal premiums and smash monthly revenue targets.

Salary – Competitive basic salary with monthly bonus paid if achievable monthly targets are hit. (The majority of our staff do take home a bonus every month)

Hours – 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. 9am – 5.30 pm

Location – This is an office-based position. Torquay.

Training – Full training provided with the opportunity to attain professional accreditations funded by the company (Cert CII)

Contract – Permanent

What will you be doing?

  • Sell insurance products to clients over the telephone, by e-mail or face-to-face
  • Process, renewal premiums to insurance policies and issue documents
  • Taking the time to learn the complete customers’ requirements through conversational fact-finding to find the best insurance cover at the best price
  • Build rapport and professional relationships with insurance underwriters  
  • Adhere to company policy and best practices in line with current FCA compliance regulations.

Ideally, you be;

  • A brand representative. Customer service is our culture, so you’ll need to be passionate and enthusiastic about what you do
  • Prepared to stick at it – There is a lot to learn, so don’t get nervous. We are here to train and support you throughout your career, not just in the early days. We want people to join us who are prepared to learn and grow with us.
